My hope is that this blog will be both a spirtual and a physical journey. Please feel free to follow along as I share my successes and struggles to become more displined in both my spiritual and physical life. I beleive that God desires to be the Lord of my entire life which includes not only my actions and attitudes, but also my body as well.

Saturday 9/10/2011
This week has been a good week. I have been watching what I eat and trying to stay active. I have not been able to get on the treadmill, but because I am coaching two soccer teams I was out on the soccer fields several times this week. When I was coaching I played with the kids and also did some running with them. Last night I splurged on eating because my wife and I had Italian takeout. Today will be active because I am taking the kids out to the lake. I still want to get back to regularly working out, but my life style is definitely becoming much more active than in the past.

9-1-2011 A Great Day!
Today was a great day! I got up early and fixed breakfast for the kids. I fixed a bowl of oatmeal with some cranberries for myself. For lunch I had a ham and cheese sandwich, a microwave meal of chicken a broccoli Alfredo. For dessert I had some fresh cherries. For dinner tonight I hat a 6 inch roast beef sandwich with spinach, lettuce, tomato, and onions with a bag of baked lays and a Diet Pepsi.
I did not work out on the treadmill today, but I had two soccer practices for my kids tonight. At the last practice since it was a younger team I had them chasing me around the field. As a result I got an hour of off and on exercise. Tomorrow should be a great day as well. Thanks for all the support.
