8/1/2011 Life Returns To Normal!

The summer is winding down and my life is returning to normal. My family and I have been moving from one house to another over the last two weeks. What that has involved was packing, loading the moving truck, unloading the moving truck, settling the new house, and cleaning up the old house so that we could leave it in better condition than we found it.
Finally, we have finished at the old house, we have moved into the new house, and we are not just settling into the new house. In addition to settling into the new house I am trying to settle back into a routine of exercise and discipline. For the most part I have been eating good, but I have not been getting to work out a lot.
During this time I took the family for a weekend get away that is the only vacation we could fit in this year. While on vacation we went hiking and swimming at the Buffalo River National Forest so it was good to be active. This weekend I was active because I was cutting grass at both houses using a push mower. However, I am ready to return to a normml routine where I can begin exercising in a disciplined manner. I was able to get the treadmill set up at the new house and it can be used again so I am going to begin using it again today. In addtion, I am going to continue to eat healthy, but I am also going to try and prepare more of my own meals and eat out less. This will save money and will be better for me because I can choose the ingredients myself.
Along with getting back to a routine in execise I am going to try and return to blogging daily. It helps  knowing that I have people supporting me in this. It is a brand new day and I am looking forward to returning to a helathy routine.

Welcome back, Kyle! :-) Hope your vacation was nice & relaxing for the whole family. We thought of y'all this past weekend as we were in Arkansas on a weekend get-away (though far from your area.) Still rooting for you! (Phoebe)
