My hope is that this blog will be both a spirtual and a physical journey. Please feel free to follow along as I share my successes and struggles to become more displined in both my spiritual and physical life. I beleive that God desires to be the Lord of my entire life which includes not only my actions and attitudes, but also my body as well.

1 month 1 week 3 days
I got up this morning at 5:15AM and walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes. For breakfast I had a cup of oatmeal and fruit from McDonald's with a large unsweet tea. For lunch I had a board meeting with the leadership board from the church. We were originally meeting at Letty's Mexican restaurant in Gassville, AR but moved are location to K.T. s BBQ when we a bus full of school children showed up at the already crowded restaurant. For lunch I had a chicken plate with cole slaw and the mustard potato salad with a Diet Coke. For dinner I ended up getting a six inch Subway roast beef sandwich without cheese. I had lettuce, tomato, spinach, and onions on it with some light mayo. For a side I had a bag of Baked Lay's Sour Cream and Onion chips and a Diet Pepsi. The kids had baseball practice until it was rained out. Since practice was rained out I took the kids and a couple from the church to McDonald's for ice cream. Everyone had ice cream but for something sweet I ordered a large unsweet tea and then put Splenda in it. However, I did not have any ice cream. Later in the evening after running several errands I got home and was starving. I ended up eating a handful of almonds and a 1/4 cup of low fat deer chili. I know I ate after 6:00 PM, but that was the first time I have been that hungry in the evening. I ate a small amount of food rather than binging later. Overall it was a good day.
